Questions of how we cooperate, how we understand one another, what it means to care for others, or how we design urban space are never just academic. And research shouldn’t be either. Over the years, I’ve worked and volunteered as a consultant, project lead, trainer and more, in an attempt to connect up my own research with working being done to build more inclusive communities, better policies and fairer cities.
I worked with Kilburn Older Voices Exchange to design and test maps for age-friendly walking in Kilburn, as a part of their Bench-to-Bench project.
