Journalism// Over the years I’ve written for various publications, including the Huffington Post, and AEON Magazine. Here’s a selection.

Common Ground – AEON Magazine (Probably my favorite thing I’ve written so far…)

The Struggle for Values – In and Out of the Modern Job Market – Huffington Post.
(Also in the Huffington Post, this on political divisions in the post-Brexit world)

Open Democracy let a group of us guest-edit a series on the what climate change means for our financial systems, and on the huge sums we’ll need to move, if we’re going to avoid toasting the planet. I co-wrote the first and last piece as part of a great team. Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Bonus: I got interviewed by the Financial Times about some work I was part of at Cambridge around sustainable finance. The campaign also picked up coverage in the Guardian, Independent etc.

Sounds //Podcasts, interviews etc

At a 2016 Arts and Humanities Research Council at Cambridge, I was interviewed after a talk I gave on the temporal rhythms of community. Listen here.

In 2015, a beloved pub in the London neighbourhood of Kilburn was demolished with no premission and no prior notice, creating a national furore. In the aftermath, I spoke with some of the pub’s regulars, to discover what happened and just what sort of place had been lost. This was released as a podcast by the University of Cambridge School of Social Anthropology. Listen here.
